Hi Ann,
I have a long but very good story for you about the Gold Rush Goldens:
I own a dog boutique on Cape Cod in Massachusetts. Every day my golden, Bailey, who is 11 comes to work with me. On Monday he turned 11 and I was chatting with a customer who has a golden who is 15. We talked about how "our boys" were in great health and she asked me if Bailey was from the Gold Rush lineage, as all the older goldens she has encountered seem to be from there.
I checked Bailey's pedigree when I got home and sure enough he is a distant Gold-Rush golden! First I was elated to see this, because he is our baby and I hope he lives forever. Then I just went on your site and couldn't believe the resemblance Bailey has to some of the dogs on your site, namely, Gold-Rush's Great Teddy Bear, who is Bailey's great, great, great grandfather, and his great grandmother is Gold-Rush Aztec Special Lady.
We bought Bailey from the VanderKrakes in the Catskills of NY.
We are going to be in the market for another golden and I can't believe that we found Bailey's family as EVERYONE who has ever met Bailey says that he is the best dog they have ever met. He has the most amazing temperament and is the sweetest, most sensitive and smartest dog ever. I have over 500 customers who most definitely agree with me, as he has melted everyone of their hearts.
I am attaching a few recent photos of Bay ( he is so white now!) and I just want to thank you for breeding the most incredible line of dogs!
Sincerely,
Nicole Merriman
