Dear Ann,
I just wanted to let you know how thrilled we are to have another puppy of yours. As you will recall, my husband, daughter and I drove down on October 14th to bring home "Willow," and the four of us couldn't be happier. Willow is a gentle, playful, sensitive girl who made herself at home with little effort. She is a quick learner and eager to please, so she's already adept at coming, sitting, and (sometimes) fetching. She easily took to her crate and never whined beyond the first night. She's got our 90 acre farm plus the neighbor's 400 acres to explore, and is gradually--and enthusiastically--doing so on our daily walks. She couldn't be a more welcome addition to the family, particularly in the face of losing Colby, our last marvellous dog from you. So thank you! We could not be happier.
