I met a woman at the Golden Retriever Forum who answered a question I asked about Charlie. She stated she had never met him, but his picture was hanging on her office wall. I’m not too simple, so I figured she knew you. I sent her a message and she suggested I email you personally. I just want to thank you for the effort and care you put into Charlie and into the breed. I have Jeffrey’s book and was using at as a guide with my first Golden, Samson. He was the joy of my life. I didn’t know one dog could move into your heart and never leave. He is at the Bridge now. I lost Sam last January 8. 2007. We purchased Ike in March of last year He’s my new love.. Both can trace their roots back to Charlie. I could go on forever, but won’t bore you. I just want to say “Thank You,” to Charlie, “Thank You,” to you, and “ Thank You,” to the gentleman who suggested you put Charlie out there to compete. I would guess that we wouldn’t have the Golden’s that we have today, had he not. You must be very proud.
