Dear Ann,
I want to let you know that we put our beloved Lucy down yesterday. She was 13. Lucy was born on July 6th 1995. We purchased her on Labor Day 1995. Lucy lead a wonderful life in Essex Fells, New Jersey. She was loved by the entire community as she was the most friendly, affectionate dog in town. Indeed, she was an extremely handsome, majestic looking dog as well. We will miss her greatly and are heartbroken by the loss. That said, she lead a wonderful, full, and happy life. We are not sad for Lucy, just sad for the void she has left.
We will go through the mourning process, but feel the best way to honor Lucy is to have another Gold Rush. I am not sure if you are still in the breeding business. If you are, could you let us know when your next litter is available? Hope all is well and look forward to hearing from you.
