Dearest Ann

CJ has graduated his beginners obedience class, we start the real obedience classes Monday! He has already after 3 Beginner Agility classes with 5 other dogs gone above & beyond them. (2 goldens, a stand Poodle, Eng Spanial, & a very smart mix) She explained to the class that everyone can continue the class when we are done for another 8 weeks for a discounted price. Then I was quietly pulled aside & told we will be going to the regular agility, even though she is not used to having a younger dog in the class. She told me that to keep CJ in the class we are in is only going to hurt him. He is already bored with it. The Big Dog class is very small & gives her plenty of time to adjust the jumps.

I know I don't have to tell YOU, The Goddess of Goldens but he is only allowed to jump a certain height until he is 18 months. I laugh at people who joke with me about seeing us on ESPN or Animal Planet, I have to tell you I think about your story of Charlie & your Husband! As long as CJ has me with him, he is out of luck! We don't have the good-luck charms your Charlie & Hubby had. I am just looking for this wonderful Boy to enjoy himself.

The real reason I am sending you this, turns out that 1 of the Dogs owners in our beginners class heard the trainers asking me (yet again) about my breeder, after our graduation, we were all outside, dogs playing, She said to me "We have a Gold Rush too" I answer Really? that makes us family! She says "yes, double trouble" That's CJ's Daddy, we call him triple trouble when he is BAD! She laughed & said so do we! They got her from someone other than you. I understand that not every puppy out of DT is yours, it is fun to know that my CJ is going to meet his half sister! I am going to try very hard to get a pic for you!

I am so proud of my guy & to call you my breeder! You are a very special person. Yesterday was 6 months without my Kirby, I never would have made it without this little IMP you sent me. Another Charlie Joy, where would any of us be without your Charlie? Life would be very boring!
