"Emma and Cooper"

Anne and Robyn,

I thought I would send you a current picture of the dogs and an update on Emma.

Emma had her check up with the ortho in Oct. The surgeon did not recommend the hip surgery at this time since her quality of life is good and she is not limping, showing signs of pain and having a hard time with walking exercise. We will continue to manage her conservatively.

Emma is a very beautiful dog and she and Cooper really love each other. She has grown to be just taller than Cooper and she holds her head higher as well. She doesn't run and fetch, but loves to go for walks and explore. Cooper is our handsome boy and so gentle, although still loves to jump when excited and he will fetch for hours!
