"Nevada" & "Montana"

Just a short note to share with you our brothers that were born on 11.15.05.

The front dog is Nevada and the smaller dog is Montana. Montana is the lad

with the severe Heart murmur - and we are happy to say that he is doing just

fine at a year and half old. Our Cardiologist says that he is "the eighth

wonder of the world". He is indeed one sweet animal and we are extremely

pleased that we have had the opportunity to spend quality time with him.

He has had 2 spells that the vet suggests are "fainting" spells where he

slowly drops to the ground and after a minute or so he seems fine. The

heart doc says that the blood leaves his head and when he lays down the head

becomes level with or lower than the heart - so blood returns and all is

well. We have not - nor do we want to - curb or limit his freedom. He

still runs as fast as he can chasing his brother, a squirrel or chipmunk,

deer, the fox, chipmunks etc. - but since the first spell he has restricted

himself. While he runs as fast as ever - he just does not run as often.

His brother is a fine animal as well - about 15 pounds heavier - a tad

clumsier - and we love him as well.
