Dear Ann and Amy,
Almost two years ago my family and I lost our first golden her name was
Chloe. Chloe was an important part to our family, not only was she my sister
but also my best friend. When she passed away, my family and I really
couldn't tolerate the pain of coming home at night to a quite home with no dog.
We researched for a week and came across Goldrush Goldens. We called you and
right away you gave us a date when we were able to come see all of the
dogs. After a two hour drive, we got to New Jersey and let me tell you were
were in heaven, I've never seen my dads eyes light up from seeing anything
except his kids first steps. My dad was the most connected with chloe,
therefore seeing his eyes sparkle from the sight of one puppy was amazing, that
day we left with no puppy, that broke my heart. When we got home we had
noticed our Golden or a Golden was an essential key to our family, it made us
become the Aaron family. My mom, dad and I all sat in a circle for a good
hour figuring out the arrangements of getting a new dog a week before we
had planned to go away. When it finally hit us, we don't care how or when we
got a golden but we knew two things one, Goldrush Goldens was were we would
get our new puppy and 2. we were getting her as soon as possible. The next
day i woke up with the flu, but my want and need for a new Golden drove me
to feel better for two hours in order to go to New Jersey. When we got
there, there were only two dogs left in the litter, penelope (our dog now)and
a boy, the boy was the runt of the litter and the girl, penelope, was the
fat one. That didn't stop us! When i had picked up the boy he had been calm
in my arms, i felt like i was holding a baby, but when i picked up penelope
(the girl) she gave me a kiss, right from the start we bonded. Now i cant
tell you penelope is perfect because she's not, she still is very
energetic and not as gentle as we remember our old dog, Chloe. But you see not only
did Goldrush provide us with a new best friend but Penelope is so much
like Chloe because of her family life that i would like to say "thank you for
giving us our Chloe back." We love our two year old puppy so much and i
wanted to share a picture of our beautiful dog, she was a "child" of
Hank/Meisha.
Thank you so much,
Gabrielle Aaron and the Aaron Family
